iFARM Workshop Abstract Submissions

Closing date: December 6, 2021

Conference Registration Opens for Presenters: January 24, 2022

Conference Registration Opens for Non-Presenting Participants: February 7, 2022

Workshop: April 7-8, 2022

The workshop will feature keynote presentations, contributed talks, and roundtable discussions.

We seek the following proposals:

  1. Contributed Talks: Present on research work (12-15 minutes). We encourage submission of work in progress, completed projects which have possibly already been published, and “lessons learned” to benefit other researchers.
  2. Roundtable Discussions: Facilitate a small-group discussion on a topic of interest (1 hour).

In the proposal submission form, please include the session type, title, author name, affiliation, and contact information, and an abstract of no more than 300 words. Abstracts for presentations should state concisely the methods and (preliminary) results of the paper. Abstracts for roundtable discussions should describe the topic of interest and potential issues for discussion. Limited funds to reduce travel costs are available. Please indicate whether you would like to request travel funding in your abstract submission.

Selected abstracts will be invited to submit a full paper to a special issue on this topic in the journal Survey Methods: Insights from the Field (https://surveyinsights.org).

The workshop itself will be free of charge for participants. A dinner will be hosted after the first day of the workshop. The workshop will also be open to a small number of people who are not presenting a paper or facilitating a roundtable discussion. Registration for non-presenting participants will open on February 7, 2022, and seats will be assigned based on a first-come-first-served basis.
